Enjoy the wonderfully intense flavors & freshness of traditional Italian dishes.
This hands-on class covers traditional home-style Tuscan and Italian recipes. The class is held in a very friendly atmosphere, in a cooking school right in the heart of Florence. You will learn how to cook a full Italian meal including an appetizer, a pasta dish, a vegetable or meat dish and a dessert. A selection of wines will accompany the meal.

Wine tasting
Private wine tasting at the Enoteca (wine store)
Join a master sommelier for a wine tasting of Tuscany's finest wines: Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile, Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino and more. Our wine tasting are tailored for all levels, from the beginner to the connoisseur. They are held in English and teach you about the history of winemaking, wine tasting techniques, and how to recognize flavors, in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of a local "Enoteca".

Red Wines
Introduction to the main Tuscan red wines and description of the most widespread vines; the traditional denomination of origin (D.O.C.); the best of the traditional production, Brunello and Nobile; the role of the Cabernet and the new trends; analysis of the wines presented during the tasting and suggestions for matching with food. Every tasting is accompanied by traditional canapés, veal Carpaccio, and Tuscan cheeses.

White Wines
Introduction to the main Tuscan white wines and description of the most widespread vines; Trebbiano as the most traditional of the Tuscan wines; the new trend toward Chardonnay and Sauvignon; Pomino, a wine produced in the mountains near Florence; analysis of the wines presented during the tasting and suggestions for matching with food. Each session is accompanied by traditional appetizers.

The Rose Wines
Introduction to main Tuscan rose wines and description of the most widespread vines; Sangiovese grapes as the base of the Tuscan rose wines; the importance of the French model and the latest trends; analysis of the wines presented during the tasting and suggestions for matching with food. Every tasting is accompanied by traditional appetizers.

Chocolate tasting  (Florence and Pisa)
Experience the fascinating world of artisan chocolate. See the production of typical chocolate recipes followed by a guided chocolate tasting. The chocolate of these artisans has the whole Tuscan taste, which is all about high quality.

Outside Florence

Cooking class in Chianti
 
Enjoy a day in the Tuscan countryside, combining a cooking class with a visit to local stores. Chef Laura will meet you in Castellina in Chianti and take you on a tour of local stores. After, you’ll go to her Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
This hands-on class covers traditional home-style Tuscan recipes. You will learn how to cook a full Tuscan meal including an appetizer, a pasta dish, a vegetable or meat dish and a dessert. A selection of wines will accompany the meal. After lunch visit the family owned winery where you can enjoy some fine wines and have an olive oil tasting.
