Ancient Rome
Duration: 3 hours
From the magnificent Trajan's Column, walk along Via dei Fori Imperiali, the ruins of the for a that the great emperors had built as a memory of their power.
You will see the Forum of Trajan, the biggest and splendid of all, whose markets, were forerunners of modern commercial centers.
Then you will reach the Capitoline Hill, where a terrace overlooking the Palatine and Roman Forum will offer one of the most magnificent views in Rome. See Piazza del Campidoglio, magnificent result of a project by Michelangelo.
Walking through the Roman Forum, the Great Rome will revive before your eyes; the Curia, seat of the Roman Senate, the State Archive, the Basilicas, and all around temples and columns and arches of triumph erected to commemorate gods and men of the Roman history.
From the Forum the guide will show you the place linked to the fabulous origins of Rome: the Palatine. Here Romulus founded the town in the year 753 B.C. and starting with Augustus the great emperors settled here. Leaving the Roman Forum you will find the arch of Constantine, and the Colosseum, symbol of the greatness of Rome and stage of the historical fighting of gladiators.

Rome with kids
Our tours of Rome with kids are led by qualified licensed tour guides specialized in family tours. They are customized to suit kids as well as adults with the objective to find ways to get children excited about art, archeology and history. They can feature activities such as treasure hunt, game or drawing activity to get them involved. During this tour/s, children and adults will travel back in time and explore Roman life in earlier civilizations with time for a slice of pizza or gelato.

Vatican & Sistine Chapel
Duration: 3 or 4 hours
Start this tour early in morning. You will avoid long wait times and have the chance to admire the impressive beauty of the place. Your expert guide will meet you at  your apartment, hotel or at the entrance to the Vatican.
Passing through the Court of the Pigna, designed by Bramante in the 16 th century, you will enter the Belvedere Palace and its courtyard with masterpieces of Greek and Roman art. Continue the visit with the room of the Belvedere Torso and, the Greek Cross Room where the splendid Sarcophagi of St. Helene and St. Constance are housed.
Walking through the Galleries of the Candelabra, of the Maps and of the Tapestries you will reach the Apostolic Palace, the oldest section of the complex of the Vatican Palaces. Your guide will show you the Apartments of Julius II, splendidly decorated by Raphael and his assistants and then the Sistine Chapel, where you will admire one of the highest masterpieces of art: the Genesis and the Last Judgment by Michelangelo.
Leaving the Sistine Chapel and going down the Royal Stairway, projected by Bernini, the guide will conduct you to the St. Peter's Basilica, the most important temple of Christianity.
The visit ends at St. Peter Square, embraced by the colonnade, architectonic masterpiece by Bernini.
The tour is not available on Sundays and Vatican Holidays.
On Wednesdays the Basilica of Saint Peter is closed in the morning for Papal Audience. Tour will feature more of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
Entrance into churches requires appropriate attire (no shorts, miniskirts or uncovered shoulders). It is also advisable to wear comfortable shoes.

Movie tour: Roman Holiday (1953)
